Easy Peanut Butter Dog Treat Recipe

Try making Toby's easy and inexpensive peanut butter dog treats for your puppy!

Lately we’ve been seeing these homemade doggy treats all over the internet. So, I thought I’d try and give them a go with my notoriously fussy sausage dog, Toby. As it turns out, he loved them! So much, in fact that I even use them as training treats with him. A true miracle considering how quick, easy and cheap they are to make! We just had to share them with you all 🐶

They also make for great homemade gift's for family or friends and we are yet to meet a pup that doesn’t love them!

My favourite part about this recipe is that it’s meat-free and it's also child-safe as all of the ingredients are safe for humans to consume.

Our recipe says to roll out the dough and cut with a cookie cutter, however if you don’t own one, they can just as easily be baked just like regular cookies, with spaced out spoonfuls of dough!

So.. let’s get started! We promise you will be surprised by how easy and quick they are to make! It’s about 2 minutes preparation and then they’re ready for the oven… and your pup will love you for it!

INGREDIENTS

2 cups flour

1/2 cup (two heaped tablespoons) peanut butter

2 eggs

A dash of water

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Beat flour, eggs and peanut butter together with an electric mixer.
  2. Add a dash of water and mix until dough has formed into one heap
